Faith grew up in the vibrant arts community of Labrador West, where she was deeply involved in local theatre and music from a young age. She participated in groups such as the Carol Players, Northern Lights Theatre Company, and Encore Entertainment, experiences that helped shape her passion for the performing arts. From 2022 to 2025, Faith facilitated music programs at Cambridge Estates Retirement Living and Chancellor Park Long Term Care Facility. Through her role as Therapeutic Recreation worker, she shared her music with older generations, creating meaningful connections through song and performance.
After relocating to the St. John’s area, Faith was encouraged to become part of the local music scene. She began performing at open mic nights and played her first city shows at Peter Easton Pub. Her momentum continued when she won an open mic competition at the Newfoundland Embassy, earning an eight-week residency and gaining greater exposure. In 2025, Faith contributed to the Labrador West mixtape with a moving cover of Sierra Ferrell’s “American Dreaming” and performed at the LP release party at Iron Rock Brewery in June. She remains committed to her craft, always seeking to connect with others through the universal language of music.
Faith plans to release her first single in 2026 and looks forward to continuing her journey with the supportive community she has found at the Newfoundland Embassy.
