Mackenzie Critch is a powerhouse singer-songwriter from Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador — and she’s taking the Canadian music scene by storm. With a rich background in classical and contemporary training across vocals, piano, and guitar, Mackenzie brings both technical mastery and raw emotion to every performance.

Her artistry is as polished as it is passionate, earning her a fast-growing list of accolades and industry recognition. Mackenzie is a true musical force, the 2022 MusicNL NewFound Talent First Place Award recipient and a double nominee at the 2024 MusicNL Awards for Rising Star and Country Artist of the Year. Her star power was undeniable when she opened two sold-out shows for the legendary Boney M., featuring Liz Mitchell in Corner Brook and St. John’s in December 2022. She later brought her vocals to a national stage, performing the Canadian National Anthem at Rick Mercer’s Hall of Fame Induction.

With over 200 performances in 2024–2025 alone, Mackenzie has proven herself as an electric live performer. Her debut singles — “’03,” “I Ain’t Me,” and “Ruin My Name” — quickly turned heads and received airplay across both local and national radio stations. Mackenzie released her first studio record in May 2025, titled “Just Having Fun” which is a bold, heartfelt, and unfiltered statement from one of the country’s most exciting new voices.
